SSCA Meeting with Pakistan High Commissioner

Supreme Sikh Council of Australia representatives have recently met and honored Mr. Babar Amin-Pakistan High Commissioner to Australia at Pakistan High Commission Canberra. The representatives handed over a letter to Wazir E Azam-Mr Imran khan-Prime Minister of Pakistan and congratulated him for taking the initiative to establish the Kartarpur peace Corridor.

SSCA have also raised concerns about protecting the Sikh Heritage in Pakistan and keeping the Sikh architecture in its original form. SSCA have also written to Pakistan HC about the petition to Prime Minister of Pakistan for establishing Kartarpur sahib as heritage village of Baba Nanak.

The representatives said that the establishment of Kartarpur peace corridor is great step for Sikhs and as well as peace lovers all around the world. While the corridor will give access to Gurduara Kartarpur Sahib, at the same time it will establish peace in the area ending the decades long conflict in the region.
